Ray Stroud

Ray, has spent many years in the business, and after a move to Stray FM in Harrogate in 1997, he took the station from strength to strength, and eventually delivered massive figures for the station, including a 43% reach.

Ray's "claim to fame" was winning a prestigious Sony Radio Award for best Outside Broadcast from The U.S.A.(thanks to Christa and Paul for there help by the way) but even now, after all these years, he is still remembered for the ledgendary quiz game "What Have I Got In My Hand" which became a firm favourite on both Aire and Magic!

Ray, still works in the industry for The TLRC group, although he admits to enjoying the occasional day off when he can.

Ray worked for both Aire and Magic, and was with 828 from it's launch.
