Reading 107 FM

Reading 107 FM is an independent station serving a population of around 220,000 in and around Reading. It is a joint venture of the Milestone Group,the Guardian Media Group,and John Madejski, owner of Reading's showpiece Madejski Stadium, the home of Reading Royals and London Irish. Despite being completely enclosed within the transmission area of 2-Ten FM, Reading 107 has increased its sales turnover month on month since its original broadcast date of October 2003. Its RAJAR figures also show a regular healthy increase in reach and listening hours, attributable in no small measure to the station's concentration on local news and sport.

In August 2005, Milestone Radio Group decided to sell its stake in the station, and the station is now controlled by Guardian Media Group.
