Robin Banks

Robin began his radio career at 13 years old, when he lived in Kilkenny, Ireland. He used to hitch-hike ten miles each way to get to his gigs.

Over the years Robin has worked for many stations, such as Radio Nova, Voice of Peace, Atlantic 252, Virgin Radio, XFM and Beat 106. Four years ago he joined Kiss 100 in London, to present the Drivetime show. Robin loves Kiss so much that he once broke in early in the morning whilst drunk and began to play music and present a show with a friend. He had to be removed by security guards and found himself suspended for a day. Since Ofcom's record fine, Robin Banks has been presenting the Kiss 100 Breakfast show with Adam K & Charlie.

Robin presented the BBC's first truly interactive tv show Subzero, on BBC Two on Sunday mornings. He was also a presenter for Bravo TV's Bravado, going places where most people wouldn't. Other TV work includes Living TV, Channel 4 and Sky One. Most recently he can be heard as the narrator of Discovery Channel's "Mythbusters" and "The Cowboy and His Sub". His motto is "You only regret the things you haven't done".
