Seymour Segnit

From Media UK's The Knowledge. Last update: 19:11, 29 Aug 2005 by James Cridland.

Seymour Segnit, known on the air as simply Seymour, was a radio presenter in the early 1990s.

Part of the launch team of The Pulse of West Yorkshire, Seymour moved to Capital FM, where he presented overnight shifts.

He made it to the papers when he 'inadvertently' left a female caller on the air after a station feature, and proceeded to chat her up to such an extent that listeners complained. Shortly afterwards he lost his contract with the station.

It is believed that Seymour moved to the US to continue his broadcasting career.
