Tony is a voiceover, and is also responsible for setting up Vox in 1997 with the "East Cheam Rep" and the annual Vox Awards with Peter Dickson.

Tony is also a television actor, starring in Porridge as the vicar and as the minstrel at the end of Blackadder 2, and in many childrens' programmes. Tony also apeared in The Bill as a traffic Cop.

Tony works as a freelance ISDN voiceover from his home studio - where, in the 1990s, he set up the 'East Cheam Rep' on Thursdays. Tony, Peter Dickson, John McGuinn, Jackie Davies and Lois Lane were all available at the end of an ISDN line, making dual and multi voiced commercials much easier, and more natural, to make. The East Cheam Rep has since ceased.

Dave Baynham says: "Tony is a great guitar player and has a good natural singing voice, great for sung adverts".
