Olly Benson works for YouthNet (http://www.youthnet.org), a charity, as Programme Manager responsible for do-it.org.uk (http://www.do-it.org.uk). He joined YouthNet as maternity cover for the Editorial Manager.

Previously Olly worked as Head of Editorial at Headliners (http://www.headliners.org), and before that for seven years at the BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk).

Olly first got involved in MediaUK in 1998, when he built the Student Media Directory whilst a student at the University of Bradford (http://www.brad.ac.uk). He later became a forum guide on the MediaUK forums.

His interests are youth and community work, and he has been involved in various community and student radio stations.
