From Media UK's The Knowledge. Last update: 16:57, 13 Apr 2005 by James Cridland. Based on work by Marcus Durham.
(Redirected from Wey Valley Radio (Now Delta))

Launched on November the 22nd 1992 from studios in Prospect Place, Alton, Hampshire through the efforts of David Way.

Initially part of Allied Radio (owners of Radio Mercury, holders of the Guildford licence) the station later became part of the County Sound Radio Network (owned by UKRD) before being renamed Delta FM 102 and merged with the neighbouring station Delta FM 97.1.

The first track played on the station was Starship, Nothings Gonna Stop Us Now, although Freiheit, Keeping The Dream Alive is also another significant song.
