Just watching Federer match. Macmillan and ?Bradnum constantly talked throughout points being played about other players, notably Ivan Lendl, presumably because he has just been announced as yet another coach for Andy Murray. Is it a pre requisite for a TV sports commentator to suffer from verbal diarrhoea?

Agree with Lizzie and Geraldine.Far too much talk.Taking away from the enjoyment of the tennis.Perhaps if enough of us complain something will be done

I always have to turn off the commentary especially Mats Wilander. All he wants to talk about is himself and what he does or did. This ruins the game as we cannot hear the play and crowd. Turn yourself off Mats and give us a chance to watch the match. This is TV we can see what nis happening and we dont want to hear how many movies you have seen etc.

Yes, I would also like to add to the comment about Mats Vilander’s distracting commentating. I have every respect for Mats as I know he is extremely knowledgeable and a I’m sure a very nice chap BUT please can a message get through to him to STOP talking through the rallies, he does it all the time! My husband and I are avid tennis fans and love watching the tennis but Mats Vilander talking through the rallies drives us to distraction! Please can someone reply and acknowledge that this message will get through to Mats Islander ASAP, whilst the 2012 Australian Open is still on. Thank you very much. Jane and Tony Ferdinando
