Broadcast Shift Engineer, Caspian One

Caspian One is working in conjunction with our client to find Broadcast Shift Engineers. For this role we are looking for people who have experience in supporting automated multi-channel play-out facilities and have a flexible attitude, are able to work under pressure and take ownership of problems. The suitable candidate will form part of the Broadcast Engineering team, reporting to the Line Manager. The role involves shift work on a regular and predictable shift pattern basis and may require the occasional night shift as part of normal support or project work. It is likely that an on-call rota will be established to provide engineering cover for out-of-hours business needs.
A good understanding of IT based technologies will be required together with knowledge and experience of modern post-production systems would be desirable as is an in depth knowledge of network administration, operating systems such as MS Windows, Apple OSX, Unix and Linux. Ideally you will have knowledge of a tapleless environment.
