10 month contract

BBC Yorkshire and Lincolnshire is looking for a new Multi-skilled Operator. You’ll be working across a range of technical areas while working closely with the production team of our integrated newsroom. Experience of working in a server-based environment, non-linear editing and camera work are desirable. You must have the ability to meet deadlines, prioritise a busy workload, operate under pressure and work effectively as part of a team. You will also be creative and be able to demonstrate an interest in and ability to generate story ideas for one off items, strands and features. The successful candidate will be flexible, have an eye for detail and be up to date with modern broadcast technology.

Interviews are planned to be held on Thursday 8th January 2009.
