TV Scheduler - Portuguese Proofreader/Sub-Editor/Editor, EBS New Media

We urgently require Portuguese freelance proofreaders and sub-editors for regular monthly work in the TV listings industry.

The work will involve proofreading and editing down a large volume of Portuguese TV programme synopses to an appropriate length by agreed deadlines.

Furthermore, we are also interested in employing a full-time Portuguese Editor/Scheduler to work at our offices in Baldock, Hertfordshire, UK (40 minutes from London). The ideal candidate would have a background in the broadcasting industry, and must possess a high level of editorial expertise in the Portuguese language as well as a good working knowledge of Excel and Word.

Experience within the TV listings/broadcast industry is desired, but not essential. Experience of producing consistently high quality Portuguese editorial work is most important.
Candidates would be expected to be fluent in both Portuguese and English.
