Channel M Television, Greater Manchester’s City TV station is a UK TV pioneer, developing new a model for local TV. With free to air access to more than 2.1 million homes in the North West of England, we’re creating a distinctive and relevant Channel which is well positioned to benefit from a new digital era. Part of the Guardian Media Group, you’ll be based at GMG’s broadcast media centre in Salford Quays.

We’re now looking for a Channel Controller with creative vision and commercial acumen, able to inspire others to realize it. Ready to embrace a new way of working you’ll develop strategy, manage talent and take overall responsibility for brand leadership both on television and online.

As Editorial leader, you’ll oversee all on air and off air marketing and have an understanding of the programme acquisition, rights, scheduling and compliance. You’ll build on partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and flourish in an environment which is innovative and occasionally challenging.
