Ben Shephard, 33, is a television presenter who is best known for his work with GMTV. He can also be seen, alongside Denise van Outen, fronting ITV1's primetime series Who Dares Sings. A staunch West Ham supporter and gym fanatic, Shephard is a father of two and has been married to his wife Annie for four years. He lives in south-west London. (more)

John Stapleton, 62, is the presenter of GMTV's The News Hour. He celebrates 10 years hosting the programme with co-presenter Penny Smith today. Over a 40-year career, Stapleton has interviewed every prime minister since James Callaghan, and reported from the Falklands, the Middle East, Northern Ireland and El Salvador for the BBC's Panorama and Newsnight. In the 1980s he co-presented Watchdog with his wife of 30 years, Lynn Faulds Wood. The couple live in Surrey and have one son, Nick. (more)

ZEE TV will be highlighting the crème of the Asian business world by exclusively broadcasting this year's Eastern Eye Asian Business Awards on Friday 26th October at 22:00.
The most prolific event to mark the UK Asian business calendar, Eastern Eye Asian Business Awards 2007 took place at The London Hilton, Park Lane on Tuesday 8th May 2007, in the presence of HRH The Duke of York.
The prestigious awards were presented at a star studded gala dinner with a lavish VIP champagne reception, and more than 1,000 celebrities, VIPs, public figures, MPs and millionaires were in attendance, including last year’s Business of the Year Award-winner, Mike Jatania, Tom Singh of New Look, Lord Waheed Ali and Lord Paul.
A wealth of A-list mainstream, British Asian and international talents made their way down the red carpet before the onlooking media. The line-up of world class entertainment on the evening featured 22-year old singing supremo and protégée of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Keedie, and classic Bhangra outfit and veterans of the International Asian music circuit, Heera. This year’s entertaining hosts were GMTV presenter Clare Nasir and actor Nitin Ganatra.
Awards presented on the night were: Young Achiever of the Year, Hamptons International Newcomer of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Community Award, and Business of the Year.

Waking up in the morning is difficult enough for most of us, but early starts
are supposed to be routine at GMTV, and so the time of day cannot explain
why ITV’s breakfast broadcaster seems to have behaved so utterly cluelessly
when it comes to the handling of its phone-ins. Credit to Panorama on
Monday for uncovering a new scandal, in which shortlists were drawn up about
an hour before phone lines closed, but the BBC One programme (with its
baffling, jerky camerawork), was still somehow not hard enough on GMTV,
which seems to have handled the running of its own competitions
incompetently. So here, instead, is a competition for the breakfast
broadcaster.

Jackie Brambles Pregnant

GMTV presenter Jackie Brambles is pregnant and plans on giving up her telly job to concentrate on being a full time mum. The 39 year old is married to David Tod and had her first baby in April - a boy, who she named Stanley. Brambles, who was born on the Isle of Arran has said that her second child will be due around the time of her 40th birthday. She currently works as a reporter for GMTV after giving up the role as Hollywood Reporter in the states 18 months ago so she could return to the UK.. (more)

He also hosts weekend shows on Magic FM and BBC Five Live and has written his autobiography, This is My Life, which divulges the secrets of his acrimonious relationship with Turner.
