New Dutch station TMF Radio claims ?flying start?

Dutch commercial station TMF Radio, which launched a week ago, claims it’s had a “flying start”. The ”always hits” station, which broadcasts on cable and Internet, says that in its first week almost 50,000 people* listened via its own website. TMF Radio apologises for interrupting funeral with fireworks

The new Dutch station TMF Radio has published an aploogy on its website for interrupting a funeral on Wednesday, when rapper Ali B launched the station with fireworks in the village of Staphorst, which was selected for the launch because it’s “the most boring place in the Netherlands” according to the station. New Dutch station TMF Radio has launched

TMF Radio, the newest national radio station in the Netherlands, launched at 1100 UTC. The station is broadcasting on cable and Internet. Official announcement of launch of TMF Radio

Dutch Media site RadioFreak says that MTV Networks have confirmed that a new radio station called TMF Radio will take over the cable frequencies of RTL FM from 27 December.
