Apna Bazaar removed from Sky EPG

Apna Bazaar has abruptly been removed from the Sky Digital EPG today. Branded the UK's first and only Asian shopping TV channel, Apna Bazaar has been broadcasting since September 2005. It was available on Sky EPG 809. Attempts had been made with the channel to find out the reason behind today's removal but no comment was available at the time of filing this article. Since the channel's launch, Apna Bazaar has been heavily dependent on Hindi/Urdu dubbed teleshopping commercials. Initially, the channel also broadcasted studio-based programming from its Manchester base but these were continued shortly after. (more)
